UNO is the classic and beloved card game that’s easy to pick up and impossible to put down! Players take turns matching a card in their hand with the current card shown on top of the deck either by color or number. Special action cards deliver game-changing moments as they each perform a function to help you defeat your opponents.     This is one of those nostalgic games that you used to play back in the days, hence why I was eager to buy it when I bumped into it while buying playing cards. These specific card sets are NOT like the typical ones you grew up with years ago; they are smaller, print is different, etc. I took a picture to compare the difference between a normal playing card and this uno card. Even though they are smaller and a bit different, that still doesn't change the fun experience. It's just a preference kind of thing. I wish the packaging was better though as it's uncomfortable to split both decks in half and put it inside so they fit (would've been better if you could've just stacked it up to 1 deck rather than separating 2 decks inside the box)

    Uno is just as much fun to play today, as it was when I was a kid! It's a great game to have on hand or for gift giving, because it's easy and fun for all ages! I love that it doesn't take a long time to explain it and even the kids understand it pretty quickly. It's also educational for kids because it teaches matching, counting and helps them with beginner strategy skills.

    Differences in this set: Some of the cards are printed differently than they were before. They use images for cards like Skip, Reverse, Draw Two, etc. This is easier for kids because they see the image and know what to do, even if they can't read. For instance, Draw Two has a +2 in the corners. It also comes with customizable Wild cards. This can be a fun addition, as players get creative in thinking of new ways to play. You can also just choose to play the Wild cards as you would with traditional Uno.

    This is a great price and is less than I've found it in stores (plus, you can't beat delivery to your door in 2 days). Some reviewers are complaining about the box ripping easily. Really? They do sell the game in a tin box, but then those same people would probably complain about the price. This is a great buy! Wrap them with a rubber band, put them in a Ziploc, or buy a tin at the Dollar Store. However, I think the best solution is.... LIGHTEN UP AND PLAY THE GAME!! :)

And if you're wondering if kids of all ages can play, the answer is YES!. You're matching colors and numbers so even older toddlers can join in. It's actually a great way to learn numbers and colors by sight and name. But don't let me make it sound too childish, adults will def enjoy the game as well and it could easily be played by just adults.

    Bonus fun for adults, turn it into a drinking game! hehe I've seen different rules of play on various blogs, but I am sure you could come up with different ones on your own too. Just have fun with it.

    Do you remember back in the days of college when you needed to study but you’d do everything but study? Yes, that’s how Power Uno was born. Two guys decided that they would rather take fun games that they grew-up with and add some more rules for fun and excitement. We hope you enjoy the game and have a few laughs too!

    • The Rules •
    - Regular Uno rules. Except the scoring aspect. No blank cards. No reneging.
    - Whenever a “7” is played — the last person to hit the deck gets a 2 card penalty.
    - Whenever a “0” is played — the last person to hit their forehead gets a 2 card penalty.
    - “Same color, same suit” — they can “cut in line” and play the card to the deck. The individuals who were suppose to go all get skipped and the concession starts from the person who played the, “same color, same suit”.
    - “+4 Wild” or “+2” — When you play a “+4 Wild” or “+2” card on top of each other, the last person who can’t play the “+4 Wild” or “+2” gets the full amount of the value of the cards.
    - If you play a card out of turn — 2 card penalty. This rule is subjective and usually comes into play when it doesn’t have to do with a “reverse” card.
    - Shuffle and deal — Each person shuffles and deals the cards at the beginning of the game. Once everyone around the circle has shuffled and dealt the cards, the seating arrangement changes. This rule is subjective.
    - Asking for help — If the individual can’t play a card from their hand and they choose not to draw from the deck, they can ask for help from another player. Be careful though, the helping players have the opportunity to lie or tell the truth when they help. They can help by giving a card that works for their turn or they can give them a card that doesn’t work.
    - Taking cards from the deck — if the individual can’t play a card from their hand or if they won’t accept help from another player, they have the opportunity to take a card from deck. They are required to pull a card from the deck until they have a card that they can play. This could mean the individual takes 1 card or has the risk of taking 16 cards.
